Good Morning, Lord!

It is always such a blessing to me to realize the promise that a new day brings. I have never been a morning person. The "night owl" label always seemed to fit me much better. But, as much as I hate to admit it, as I get older I am waking earlier and actually.......liking it. There, I said it! I have to be at work at 6:30 A.M. As I travel and spend that 40 minutes of quality time with the Lord, we cary on sweet conversations. He loves blessing me with the most beautiful sunrises. I feel as though it's just me and Him. Each new day brings a new sunrise, beautiful and completely different than the day before. To think of Him rising before I do to paint the gorgeous colors on the fresh tapestry of a new day. And then His anticipation of presenting the gift to me......it just fills my heart with delight! Because I know that God loves me and just like any Father, He wants to give me good gifts. He showers me with gifts every single day and I can not thank Him nearly enough.
I have tried and tried to capture pictures of some of the beautiful sunrises to keep for myself and to share with others. But pictures never do His artwork justice. Maybe it is because it would take away from the personal effect? I don't know. I just know how very blessed I am by each new sunrise and I want to share what I saw this morning. The deep aqua backdrop accented by billowy salmon colored clouds.....just breathtaking. So, now I share what I did capture, but if you haven't done so lately, you really should rise early one morning and receive this gift up close and personally for yourself. It will take your breath away.

You will not believe this. I woke up this morning and could tell that the sky was different looking through the blinds. So I grabbed my camera and took some pictures. Hopefully mine look as good as your pics.
