Then we headed down the road and found this very old church. It was tiny but beautiful.

Prom Night (Series 1)

These are the pictures I took for Heather on the night of her prom. It was an overcast and drippy evening. The sprinkles slacked off long enough to get some good shots. I took pictures in several different locations. This series of shots were taken in her yard.

This is what we came home to one afternoon.....

He seemed pretty tired. We must have missed all the skateboarding action!


Then, on another day there was THIS:

A friend had been over for a visit the evening before and was looking at this magazine. She left it on the arm of my couch, along with the throw. Apparently, Bella is an avid reader. I did not know this when I adopted her. Interesting!

And as I laughed and ran for my camera, she gave me this look, as if to say, "MUST you look over my shoulder when I'm reading?"



Then there's this one. When Gilligan comes in from a night of hunting he just collapses wherever. At least he made it through the doggy door and into the house before passing out. Yes, he was sound asleep here. Looks comfy, doesn't he?! NOT!



And last but not least, this one, which is one of my favorites. Bella and Gilligan taking a Sunday afternoon nap. It's so sweet to see brother and sister taking a nap together and how precious that he even has his arm around her.

OK, this was something different to give you a break from the Heather pictures, but this weekend will bring LOTS more Heather pictures. Prom pictures. I hope you'll come back for more. I think you'll like what you see.

Then later that afternoon I got to take some shots of just Heather. We had fun down town.

We will take a break from Heather for tomorrow. I'm dieing to show you the pictures I took before her prom. But we'll take a little break. Something fun and whimsical tomorrow. But the prom pictures for the weekend!

Another First with Jaelynn

This was Jaelynn's first time in a big swing. She LOVED it! Heather pulled her back and let her go and she giggled like the Pillsbury Dough Boy!! It was hilarious. I'm sure it tickled her tummy. We all had a good time at the park that day.

Oh, and this one was taken before we hit the swings. She wasn't crying........just fussin'. "They" call this "Squishy Face"!! Too funny.

Here is another set of shots from our day at the park. Sorry I missed two days. I kind of had some really important "things" happen over the weekend. Friday I got a new job!! WooHoo! Then Saturday I had to go buy some new clothes and shoes, of course! But, back to business. Here's the photos. Hope you like them and I will be posting more tomorrow.

Introducing........Jaelynn Grace

OK, so anyone who has seen my blog before already knows Jaelynn. This isn't her first time on my blog. And to those of us who love her and know her best, we call her J-bug. She is wonderful, adorable, funny, and now we add to the mix........speedy! VERY speedy!

I got the honor of spending the entire day with Jaelynn and her mother, Heather one day last week. It was such a fun day, just us girls. I don't get many opportunities like that living in a house full of boys. So, I really enjoyed myself.

We took many, many pictures all over town. I shot some pictures of just J-bug (in multiple outfits, no doubt! - I told you we did the "girl thing"!) at the park. Then I shot several of J-bug and her mommy, Heather. Then I shot several of just Heather. We will start off with just J-bug and work our way through the day. Mind you, this will take us several days to cover our outing, so............we'll pace ourselves. I hope you enjoy the pictures of our day.

This was actually Jaelynn's first time in the sand. She LOVED it!
